I do have a question, if anyone wants to give their opinion. I am assuming that these bone marrow derived MSCs from healthy donors are not ours; but of course the results will likely be indicative to our research in this area.
Just thinking of risk: 1. Can Cleveland Clinic partner with a Big Pharma (licence their results and manufacturing processes in this space) to scale up and bring their intervention to market?; or 2. Their intentions are primarily to further research in this space?; and 3. Would our patents (either from a manufacturing etc, or clinical area) protect us on the off chance they did decide to commercialise their findings?
