re: avl pocket of tribal conflict to end and rela Sorry NT Ive got to agree with cpt.Management has been good, but huge stuff up with transportation of concentrate. Not just BTs fault. There are some pretty big names from FQ on this board!
I have no problem with your assessment of regionality of conflicts and the possibility of it affecting Dikulushi.
However one simple thing NT.Have a go at the share price.Chartpac put a discount of 60% on this stock which brings it down to 20c from an NPV of 60c+.
If the market had the sort of confidence you have in the DRC it would be well over 20c and headed towards 50c.I would suggest a dose of reality is required here NT.This stock wont be blue sky unless a Democratic government with good country managing ability is installed within a year.Even then its in Africa.Ask your average Australian mining analyst what they think of African based projects.
Yes it will go 20c+ and maybe a bit more when they get these costs down. But it certainly wont move on the basis of the Frenchies going in up north. This will not change the current risk profile of this company in the short/medium term. The stock price has proven this over the last couple of years.Good 30-50% stock now.No more-no less UNLESS your prepared to hold it for the long term.Still a good return in the current context of the markets.
Cheers domum.
Yes I hold.No Im not buying any more.
