Obviously you'd gain if you purchased at a lower price to that of the closing price prior to consolidation.
Our holdings would be reduced all the same but the immediate gain or in some cases the loss would depend on your entry unit value.
So relating this to SPI, purchasing now at .018c could lead to a price rise to say .03c. A price rise would have to be imminent to ensure those who purchased at the last CR gain immediate value also prior to all holdings being consolidated. A holding with a higher unit price will gain less which would be unfortunate for LT holders.
The talks have been stated as being based on maximising shareholder value, to this end the share price can only go up for the LT'rs sake.
What's the alternate value to the LT investor then? More options?
I'm trying to piece it all together and comprehend why there are suggestions of 100 to 1000 baggers.
I apologise if this is stating the obvious but I was blessed with bad looks and a little brain!
Happy weekend all!
