    Cross trades mean nothing, really. If you and I both use the NAB platform for our shares, if we buy and sell to each other, it comes up as an XT.

    I don't think "tree shaking" applies to this one. Some people have already made good profit and are just selling to lock it in. Noone knows where SIP will land when it goes ex-dividend.
