This is an appalling state of affairs and I feel for anyone caught out in it.
A real can of worms has been opened because I doubt there is any clear guidance on how any left over money should be distributed to creditors (account holders).
If you PLV shares were sold at the discount, is your return related to PLV closing price, or the abysmal forced sale price? Compare this situation to someone who only had BHP shares where there is sufficient liquidity to obtain reasonable sale price.
What the hell was OPSL doing offering margin over PLV anyway?
