Can't agree with your valuation that THX should be 25% of UMC.

THX own 16% of UMC.

If full value was realised from the UMC holdings it would equate to 43.5 cents a share. However, playing second fiddle will not create fair value unless someone wants to T/O THX.

I hold both with a heavy weighting on UMC.

The THX stake is more to do with leverage down the track when interested parties will fight for the remainder of UMC shares.

I cannot see that happening for a while especially given UMC's true worth has not been realised. That will all change very quickly and then start to add value to THX.

In the meantime a good time to accumulate without telling everyone. The market will eventually wake up.
