interesting article, u can see it in action here on HC sometimes with speccy stocks , just pick those that boom ( combine with other websites) and a few posts from someone that seems to know what they are talking about, now its not until the shareprices tank re RAU for example that the lurkers that followed the so called sage experts or day traders come out of the woodwork.
Same can be said for politics without going any further, the one area that doesnt as much is science and research but they are evidence based discplines and therefore are less susectpible to crowd control - herd instincts
