What will Chairman Dan do ? The Fink will no doubt advise that the licence should be revoked, which is entirely appropriate given the record levels of corporate malfeasance. However Dan has to consider impacts to the Vic economy and fallout from doing so. The small window that exists is for some heavy horse trading that will allow a "white knight " to step in and take over the company and licence at a fair price. That will come with some onerous reform requirements of the White Knight and hence a much lower price than where it finished yesterday. That is not a high probability scenario but it is the only way out for Packer and shareholders.
