Yes, I agree with the let's stop the memories. I am guilty in the first degree only due to frustration as a life long PAFC man. The current Power outfit are soft and not representative of a team with so much history and pride but the game has evolved so rapidly that history probably doesn't have a place in the game anymore. As a kid who grew up in Ethelton as a wayward soul on the wrong side of the tracks, my life was turned around at 16 by constable Peter Woite and I've given my heart and soul to the club ever since, even though living in various parts of the world.
So, I am a little protective of my memories ( particularly after a few reds late in the day ) but suffice to say that I have a bi-partisan heart for SA football ( apart from showdowns ) and when Port aren't competing in the finals, I'm delighted to see the other mob go well. Go Croweaters!!!
