Factor in plant maintenance costs throughout that period and if the timeline sticks there is no way an additional CR isn't needed.

The best protection from a predatory takeover would be to be printing cash and extracting the value not burning capital on exploratory drilling for things that wont be mined for another 10+ years.

SPR is a once in a lifetime play and so we are right to want to extract all the value we can out SPR. I paid for my shares and I want the maximum return possible over the shortest time span, no one gave me 12m free ones that trigger in the event of a TO.

SPR could have been entering into production within the next 12 months at record high gold prices, and funding further drilling from FCF. Instead we are sitting on the side lines during an ATH gold price. Yes the gold price might keep going up, but it might also go down and no one knows what the gold price will do with any certainty.

Production and profitability will generate the largest return for shareholders at this point and judging by SL's latest speeches we are instead burning cash on other things whilst waiting for someone to come knocking and take us over.
