I am not an M&A expert by any stretch. My son asked a good question - what is holding back RMS from making a takeover bid for SPR? I do not know and am somewhat puzzled why they do not make a bid for the 80% they do not own as each day that goes by increases the likelihood that SPR will be closer to a resource of 5m+ Oz of high grade gold and a potential bid from another gold producer.
Anyone have a guess at answering my son's question?
