Calm, if RMS have made an indicative offer ON PAPER, not just an off-the-record chat between two king-makers over a beer, that surely must be disclosed.
As in, we've received an offer and the Board deemed it not to be in shareholders best interests. etc. etc.
Agree that as time passes, RMS is playing a more costly, game. Unless they know something we don't. The only thing I can think of, outside gambling on global geo-political factors effecting GP to the negative - seems unlikely - is a 3rd party, or more, in the frame, and RMS 20% is leverage for a higher price.
Are RMS playing a long game? If so, why?
Other than that, we are student observers in an M&A masterclass. Sometimes the young see things with a clarity we no longer possess.
