That is the million-dollar question.
During RMS recent conference call question time, MZ was asked by an analyst whether a larger mill/shorter mine life had been given serious consideration.
MZ stated that the RMS team and external consultants were initially surprised by the length of Mt Magnets 17 year mine life.
MZ said Mt Magnet DFS could potentially factor in a larger mill however MZ did throw cold water on a mill larger than say 3 to 3.5mta as he said there would be a large CAPEX step-up once Checkers mill size increased above that capacity.

Was MZ telegraphing to the market that RMS will still remain mill constrained even after Checker mill upgrades?
Do these comments potentially add weighting to the importance of Dalgaranga's 2.5mtpa (3.2mtpa oxide) mill capacity?
