Cuba’s infrastructure is old, which includes their refineries, storage etc, it also impacts their abilities to refine heavier viscosity oil. China did a mild upgrade on one of the five a while back. It’s public information and not hard to research.

Unfortunately their is limited markets to which they can go for infrastructure and technological (USA patented) upgrades due to present sanctions and political situation with USA. Any research and you’ll see that is a huge understatement.

Don’t worry to much about markets, domestic alone could in all probability soak Almeda and Zapato (if successful) alone.

But that’s running before we walking. First we still need viscosity and flow rates to k now what we are dealing with. After that then Well installations, transport (Pipeline avenue nearby, great for MAY), then refining, storage and sale. Along with the myriad of other things between the A-Z of it.

People wanting to go from zero to one hundred overnight. It’s not going to happen. Not to say there’s not going to be some nice jumps and future rerating down the track if all goes as hoped.

As I’ve said before, a lot of good potential here, it may be the making of Melbana. One step at a time. Sale of options should add some more cashflow which will help. There’s some good knowledge in these threads, just have to sort the wheat from the crap load of chaff.
