painful. i'm sick of that pain, that arises due to being on the wrong side of the market. i don't want that pain ever again, as i have had enough of it to know it is not what i want. if i feel that pain now, i cut it out and walk away, as hard as that is. it hurts more for a minute or two, then after a few more minutes, the pain is gone entirely.

i know jack about gold. i know it is a yellow metal and heavy and people wear it as a sign of wealth, but that's about as far as my knowledge goes, apart from one important fact: i know gold is in an extended bear market, the 'death by a thousand cuts' type of bear at that.

that's not somewhere i would want to be long, i know that too.

if you must buy a gold stock, why not hedge it with a short on gold itself? then you can see if the market is cruel enough to make you wrong on both lol!
