Announcement today (25/08/08) from GGP again is cautiously optimistic
Target Depth reached on Thursday (21/08/08) and decided to run in and cement in a production liner ( ahem.. because of high pressure conditions) which was completed on Saturday (23/08/08)

They have confirmed a 30 to 35 feet thickness in the Miogyp sand layer which fits in with expectations.

Cased hole logs are to be run on Tuesday (USA time). Maybe some news before the end of the week I would hope ! And obviously hope that all the indications of a commercial strike are confirmed by the logs and testing.

So crunch time is very close.
