have never seen any benefit from any company that has had its s.p. improved due to consolidation instoes and any other thinking person buys on facts not s.p.
I've seen a number that have benefited from consolidations. But it has to be for the right reasons, not just so that they can issue more shares. Instos will usually not even take a passing look at a penny stock, no matter what the fundamentals. So a consolidation may garner more interest but unless the company is at an advanced stage, it will not suddenly induce instos to buy.
In the case of MIZ I prefer they continue without consolidation and get the share price to a reasonable value before considering any consolidation. I can't see any real insto involvement at this stage of their progression.
