I presume that your reference to "gold hitting almost 1,200 dollar a few days ago " is talking about the gold price in AUD and not USD.

I mean the recent high for gold in USD was around US$1,023 if I remember correctly.

If you are a trader then I guess that you can rejoice at selling at 4.9c and hoping to get back in at 4c. Good luck on that score.

However for someone who has been with RAU for some years now, fluctuations of a few cents here and there is nothing new and I am not in it for the short term.

There is a bigger picture to RAU. A much bigger picture if you can come to gain an understanding of it.
