Bumsteer,
Thanks for your comment.
I get your drift in general, but still think that there is nothing significant.
One key point I think worth noting is that the downgrading of the near surface blocks was in the context of a 50% Upgrade of the overall resource.
It is also very significant that that new resource upgrade was at a higher cut of grade of 0.6gpt. Up from the old 0.4gpt cut off.
So, while you are correct that some of the near surface blocks were downgraded one classification (eg from measured to indicated), the nett outcome was a 50% Increase in resource at a higher cut off!
Just one other point may need a comment: You quote them as saying the topo is adequate for Mineral Resource Estimation. I have no doubt it is and was, but obviously some small errors have been identified and we are now dealing with BFS, so fine tuning is needed.
As I said, I don't see any potential for any correction to really impact on the resource stated to date.
I actually expect there will be a very large increase in the global resource, and probably in the pit size as well.
Anyways, not too long to wait now for upgrades, and also not really that long to BFS.
Be interesting to see if the Social License comes in before or after those two things.
Cheers
