I agree the best way to invest in cryptocurrency is to buy the currency and hold it in a secure wallet. I've got some BTC, ETH, LTC and Ripple bought during the crypto winter. I dollar cost average a little bit weekly and have just added ADA. Now DEFI is fascinating. I have made some small transfers to BlockFi and Celsius. Passive income from cryptocurrency with related platform risk etc.

CRYP is, as others have said, is an investment in companies that either hold BTC (Microstregy) or are exchanges and miners, and are not dependent on the price.

Cryptocurrencies and bitcoin are extremely volatile. The price of CRYP since listing has reflected this. A sneeze in Coibase's quarterly report gets magnified aout of proportion. The crpto market is too often driven by hourly and daily emotional reaction to events and rumours.
