Crytocurrency can survive with many 'ifs'. We will have to see if CBDC and Bitcoin can coexist as many studies are being undertaken at the moment... and how governments and reserve banks are going to regulate it or ban it altogether if they think its a treat to their sovereignty. We will also have to see how El Salvadore incorporation of Bitcoin has benefitted its economy in its quest for de-dollarization. Its volatility, transactionality and scalability limitations have to be fixed with so many other imperfections... ecological etc etc etc It is too grey to predict what countries are going to do so for now, its value is speculative and its volatility is tradable...
