Following my earlier post regarding the stablecoins liquidity pool via Beefy Finance on Fantom/Curve, today I made a smallish deposit into this liquidity pool to try it out. The APY varies constantly as expected, and at the moment is 83%, which is very good for a stablecoins liquidity pool.
There seems to be little interest on HotCopper for stablecoin liquidity pools, which is surpising because I expect that stablecoin liquidity pools are the future for fixed income investment, or perhaps call it semi-fixed income investment. The investment returns from stablecoin liquidity pools are miles ahead of traditional fixed income investments like bank term deposits, treasury bonds, and corporate bonds. In addition, in my opinion stablecoin liquidity pools are lower risk than corporate bonds.
This last month I have deployed a reasonably significant (significant for me) amount of funds into stablecoin liquidity pools, and during the next 12 months I will probably move quite a lot more funds into stablecoin liquidity pools. The source of the funds will be profit taken from shares.
