So I decided to get into crypto mining and try it out. A company called to offer to host the machines in Europe. When I didn’t think that was very safe I searched for a local Australian company to host one and came across DC2. After a few back and forth email with John Pavy I decided to purchase some machines from China and utilise the cheap electricity that DC2 provides.

I spoke with John via the phone and it seems there has been massive demand for the service. If you were wanting power for your mining machine you wouldn’t be able to get an allocation until next year sometime now. Effectively DC2 is just a power company making a few cents per KW?

I haven’t looked into other parts of the business and I don’t hold any shares in the company but the potential for hosting data miners is huge!
