I agree - I think that if BHP was walking away, it's SP would be much, much greener in colour. I don't think we can read too much into today's SP activity, as other factors no doubt are involved like the interest rate rise - at least I hope that is the case. Would've preferred to buy more lots of RIO today rather than when I did yesterday, but those are the breaks.
