I feel sure that BHP will make an offer and at least keep a "pilot light" (Terry McCrann's expresssion)going on the takeover. They may increase their all scrip bid to 3.3:1 which would be in-line with what Chinalco paid for their stake. Not long to wait now ... we will know before the market opens Wednesday morning.
