the honey that she sold was from her son in law (ie the guy who married watso's sister) anyway he was a beekeeper and could sell his honey for a pittance to some mob (honey pool type thing).. over in bayswater somewhere ..
lol watso's mother basically worked for nothing - from memory she got 10c/kg to cover costs .. lol but the honey was sold from the hills to the coast ..and the honey was sold as per the plant that provided the honey - so there was honey from PATTERSONS CURSE (a light pleasant honey) and the WA Xmas tree (a dark thick honey) .
lol watso's doctor friend used to ring watso when he needed honey .. ok apart from the shops, plenty of neighbours also would buy the honey .
in the end there was no money in honey - so the brother in law sold all the equipment etc - and drove trucks for a living
