If CSE sell their stake in SYR in the next 2 months, and there seem to be willing buyers of large volume, then a large fully franked payout would make todays CSE price (Differential to SYR) very attractive.
Who knows if it will happen though? Doesn't make sense for CSE to exist forever as an ASX holding company for SYR shares, but timing the sale is important. Many holders will want to reinvest in SYR directly with the proceeds and would not want SYR to rocket up on good news after CSE has sold but before funds were received...
The price differential closing may indicate something is happening or being planned???
