Well, there is no groundwater contamination in wells as close as 20 m from Cougar's Kingaroy burn.

Also, the (Walker, Blinderman) trial burn at Chinchilla from 1999 to 2002 ended without environmental incident and with ongoing monitoring, none has been mentioned since.

Eskom in South Africa is delighted with their Majuba UCG trial (personal communication) and are continuing without environemntal incident to date.

Ditto Solid Energy in NZ and Laurus Energy in the US I believe.

All five are using Ergo Exergy UCG technology.
