The farmers do not own whats under the ground... think they get about $5000 if a explortaion hole is drilled in one of their paddocks.. I could be wrong.

To get CSG to breakout you must lower the pressure on the coal seam, ie lower the water table to produce the gas and where is all this water going to go is a big question. Have been told its good water, others have told me it's salty. We are talking huge volumes of produced water. The meathane is there and lots of it, this will continue to be a huge industry next 20 years.
