This is a " pull " from the announcement....


"Ms Tanna is executive vice-president and managing director, Australia, of BG Group.

She is experienced in the resources sector, particularly the growing market for liquefied natural gas, and has formerly served in a leadership capacity in resource sector firms such as BHP Petroleum and Shell.

With Australia's LNG industry set to boom massively over coming years, her appointment was widely greeted within the local banking community. "

This other bit of info is about her friendship with Ann Pickard of Shell and it was reported that Ms Pickard stayed at Ms Tanna residence in Gladstone on a recent visit in 2010

"Before becoming the BG Group executive vice-president in charge of Australia, Tanna ran Shell's gas business in Africa, where she became good friends with Shell Australia chairman Ann Pickard, then her counterpart in the oil business."

So she knows her stuff and has some good friends, she just has to meet DC & JA.
