Valuations apply in the CSG are based on EV/2P & EV/3P reserves ($/GJ). Once u have this, u make an offer thats a premium to SP over the last 3 months period.
Thanksfully now, we have sufficent figures to use as bench-marks for the top & bottom range for 2P & 3P reserves. Most often the current SP doesnt reflect the true nature of the beast, other then to the interested parties.
