As a retired farmer I can understand where the farmers are coming from. From my experience farmers are a disorganized group who get picked off individually and get a few crumbs for compensation
There are billions of dollars at stake here and unless they make plenty of noise they will be run roughshod over and have their livelyhood damaged or destroyed and only get a pittance for compensation.
They perhaps are taking a leaf out of the trade unionists book where they demand a $200.00/week raise when they are prepared to accept $50.00.
In a showdown between Government big business and Farmers I know who I would put my money on.
I have a large(for me) investment in BOW but I still feel for the farmers.
