Really good point !! I have never come across this situation but note a company is working on a system to blast underground coal with high pressure water (Steam?) to achieve the result you mentioned.. Would be interested in your reference to this topic!
Still no one has answered my question -- Can you go back to a coal body depleted of CSG and then use UGC to get more energy out.. forget for the moment how much more!

I will email the chief players in these industries next week and see what the result..maybe i will have egg on face for overlooking a basic scientific fact but at the moment I just don't get it!!!
