cost cutting, profit driven companies are ok for business but for electricity, water, hospitals and schools/universities we need govt to have control so as to ensure price controls and long term stability of provision of service.s
fair enough to allow business to add to the system, as with schools and unis. they can value add to the system, but no good comes from privatising the system.
