The nuclear shills have left out a crucial point .
A baseload nuclear plant business case relies on the fact that the plant runs over 90% of the time .
Mature baseload coal in Australia is down at around 60% thanks to competition from renewables . A number that is shrinking year on year.
A nuclear plant couldn't compete in today's market let alone one in 2030 that is 82% renewable. Or a 100% one in 2035 for that matter.
The numbers simply don't stack up.
You will note that the nuclear shills never put up the numbers.
