Guess when the last requirement for coal power station materials in Australia was. The last coal station was commissioned in 2007 in Queensland.

The point is that we need vast quantities of 'things' that make up renewable grids. Hundreds of thousands or millions of individual panels, wind turbines and tower components are all done in China. Any time China feels like it, it could cut us off and we would have rolling black outs.

And btw most of the 'renewable' parts are manufactured in a region where Uighurs muslims are having a genocide conducted against them.

People such as yourself love acting as though you're saving the world from danger and acting ultra virtuously, but you're also advocating for a business / supply chain which is assisting with an active genocide.
