Once again, IF China decided to 'stop supplying' Australia with any of the parts you mentioned (and just about everything else we buy from them), Australia will be in a world of hurt. No doubt.
BUT, so will CHINA.
China already tried to ban Aussie coal imports which contributed to their rolling blackouts. Guess what? Aussie coal is back on the menu for them now. How do you think they'd fare in a full blown trade war with Australia? We may be a small fish, but we are also their quarry.
As David accurately points out, China makes many components, not only green tech.
Your argument is invalid as this discussion is about technology, not country of origin.
The world (through the Russian experience) has already opened its eyes to the strategic decisions that are required to ween ourselves off the likes of China and Russia. More of everything is already being built elsewhere. Businesses have been shutting factories in China for many months now, mostly due to Covid issues there, but this is not showing any signs of slowing.
So, once again, keep hiding in your cave if you like, but not all of us are as scared about the future as you are.
