They need to invent a new category of subsidy for power generation that can supply 24/7
Call it the 24/7 Power Generation subsidy and make it a really massive subsidy so industry builds more reliable 24/7 weather independent powergen.
Remove the raft of Intermittent Sunshine/Wind Power Generation Renewables subsidies as they only make intermittent power more widespread defeating the system objective of providing reliable power.
Unfortunately logic and politics are not compatible
Government infected by climate fantasy ideologues seems unable to be rational.
