For info though.. yes, the east coast of Australia had a relatively cool summer.. It also had record flooding. Have you seen what is happening in California though? Record droughts and high temperatures? This is called La Nina. When El Nino is in place, it flips; Australian East = Hot and Dry (black Saturday bushfires), USA West = Cool and wet.
There is no secret that these events are cyclical, however they are being experienced with record intensity of late.
The underlying global temperatures are trending up, again no secrets there.

One thing is for certain though; these record high fossil fuel prices are making it much easier to convince more rusted-on backwards looking folk to have another look at new tech. I just hope that AGL will catch up to it one day too..
