    yep...that is what I am saying - they still have a very high level of fossil fuel generation in their daily mix... stop thinking adequacy and think overscale instead - European countries in particular (being interconnected) - as if surplus is generated - it can be exported to another country who could be under a different weather condition.

    IMO a power supply with more than 50% fossil fuel has a lot of room for improvement... if that was 20-30%... I would perhaps say a different thing. But if it was 20-30% fossil fuel - their cost of electricity would also be much lower

    more renewables and storage will go a long way to reducing reliance on a generation sources that are impacted by variable commodity prices AND bringing prices down (yes, even with storage priced in)
