    There's plenty going on with hydrogen however l'm not sure how much of it will be used for energy .

    l reckon batteries and other forms of energy storage have got their noses in front in that space. The trip from generation to work is just much more efficient . Energy storage technology such as electrically powered heat storage is really improving fast .

    There will be plenty of demand for green hydrogen for industry to displace fossil hydrogen though.

    With a bit of luck we'll take the lead from RethinkX where we'll become an energy superpower and over invest a little in renewables so that most of the time we'll be spilling electricity . This means that even in the worst weather events we will always have enough electricity and it will be dirt cheap. For the rest of the time we will have a surplus where entrepreneurs can really create oppportunities .

    That spilling would be ideal for producing green hydrogen where efficiency is less of an issue.
