    Wow, very nice bit of kit,

    But is designed for processing purposes. It is not a portable analytical device. Of course this type of on stream real time information is invaluable to the mine/resource geologist.

    On the subject, Portable XRF technology (which this is not) should be used with caution. A full QAQC process should exist for any type of analysis and the results cannot be used for mineral resource estimations. I have seen asx releases stating results from portable xrf analysis but one should be very weary of these unless some details of rigorous QAQC is documented

    IMO, current portable xrf technology for whole rock chemistry should be used as a guide only for example where it may be challenging to decide if a hole should be terminated from visual inspection of the material.
