They share some currency and interest rate sensitivities and little else apart from an industry grouping. RMD is actually down over 3 years despite a main competitor having a product recall. COH is simply a great company.
I wouldn't be comparing them in the rear view mirror over 12 months. Unless you're suggesting that RMD and COH share prices are also influenced by plasma pricing, a higher cost of blood arising from non-recessionary conditions in the US, RNA vaccine strategy and specific challenges embedding the VIFOR acquisition.
