Much depends on personal circumstances. I want to sell mine prior to divvie in order to get the capital gain (to write off currently registered losses). I will buy them back cheaper after CSL goes ex dividend. If I collect the dividend then I need to pay tax on that dividend. hmmm That's how it works for me.
Don't know why it took me so long to get into CSL, shares I once held but sadly sold. But I am back in and have an order in for my super fund as well. These will not be sold prior to dividend but only those in my name shall be.
