Can't claim any great credit really, since, as I said, I was pretty well p***ed when I bought them, but I'm certainly not complaining.
BTW I still know the guy who paid for the big lunch at Paul Bocuse, and a couple of months back I said.... "Mate, have you ever heard the one about there's no such thing as a free lunch? Well let me tell you a story...."
Seriously though, that was a good article in the SMH, and pretty much spot on. The only thing I would add would be that it would probably be much better to get to that 'independent' position when you're young, as it would be much more fun.
