You're assuming their earnings are going to be unaffected by this event, I find it hard to believe they'll be able to source blood to turn into serum products given they get most of their blood from the US and they won't be collecting it if there is a risk of donors being infected with Covid-19. They also won't be selling as much because hospitals are going to be dealing with Covid-19 cases almost exclusively soon. You make a good point about the currency but are they hedged at all? Overall I think CSL will be a good investment in the longer term, but what are they currently worth? Not as much as they were and they were on a 70:1 p/e before this happened so they'd need to be on a lot less than that for me to buy them again.
