The float was in 1994 - I know because I worked there and bought 10,000 shares myself.
CSL produced one of the world's first Spanish Influenza vaccines in 1919, that was when "they delved into vaccines" and saved thousands of Aussie lives.
In 1956 Australia, through CSL, became the first country outside USA to produce the Salk polio vaccine, saving thousands of kids from being crippled.
But hey, why let facts get in the way of someone's need to be right all the time.
