Firstly, happy new year to you and others. I wish everyone the best.
I've just had a look at one of my useless spreadsheets and noted the following closing price(s) of CSL at calendar years end. It's only 4 years but, to see these numbers is little rattling;
2021 - $290.72
2022 - $287.76
2023 - $286.65
2024 - $281.58
It's fine to post projections from April 2024. But blind Freddy can see that if CSL doesn't perform in 2025 and provide a strong outlook that support Macquaries numbers, then where will we be in 12 months time? I get that some trade this stock from $270 to $300. I'm not one of them. If CSL shares don't barnstorm beyond $300 and maintain those levels (at the very least), then I fear that longer term investors who provide a base for this stock will say "enough is enough".
Enough of the talking. Enough of the forecasts. Enough of the projections.
Let's see if results in 2025 will support CSL's status as a growth stock.
