It's impossible to ever be sure why stock prices fluctuate and this trend with CSL is no exception. If I had to estimate a reason for the recent decline, I would think it's no more than just some doubt / caution creeping in over how Trump (along with Kennedy) approach blood donations and vaccinations across the next four years.
There's every chance that there will be no impact to CSL but there's enough uncertainty at this early stage for some investors to take some of the money off the table and that can be enough to move the needle.
