csl has regulatory protection on many of its products. csl has a process for systematically creating new products(profit streams) with regulatory protection. csl has almost monopoly power on some of its products. . csl has more potential/opportunity to reinvest retained profits in high ROE projects than most businesses.
for these reasons csl deserves it's high apparent valuation multiple.
